Mereka berbaris sesuai kelas masing-masing. Sebelumnya mereka menikmati konsumsi dari panitia acara. Sekitar jam 13.00, barisan diberangkatkan, didampingi bapak-ibu guru, siswa-siswi Spenda berjalan dengan tertib menuju Rumah Rakyat. Sampai sana akses menuju Jalan Hayam Wuruk sebagian ditutup dan dijaga beberapa petugas.<\/p>\n<p>Siang itu mereka bersama dengan peserta lain mengikuti acara &#8220;Pemecahan Rekor Muri Mewarnai Batik Terpanjang dan Peserta Terbanyak.&#8221; Mereka sangat antusias karena baru pertama kali mewarnai batik. Dengan memakai pakaian olahraga mereka duduk di aspal memegang kuas dan cat warna. Kain batik sepanjang 5.053 meter diwarnai oleh 10.106 orang. Masing-masing peserta mewarnai batik dengan motif berbeda-beda, tapi khas Mojokerto.<\/p>\n<p>Acara ini turut dihadiri PJ Wali Kota Mojokerto, Moh. Ali Kuncoro, PJ Gubernur Jawa Timur, Adhy Karyono dan Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno.<\/p>\n<p>Anak-anak SMP Negeri 2 Mojokerto bangga bisa berkontribusi dalam kegiatan melestarikan batik sebagai warisan budaya nasional.
